Meet at 10.00am sharp at the café in the grounds or if late, catch up with people drawing inside the grounds. The theme for the day is 'water'. It is an informal day out and a chance to meet club members and guests, pick up some tips and enjoy some sketching & painting. It is not an ‘organised formal trip’ so self-sufficiency with water, food etc is important but the cafe sells basic foods.

Directions:

The Park is not far from Leicester City Centre. The main car park is on Abbey Park Road which can be accessed from the Belgrave Road (A607) or the A6 Abbey Lane (see map). There is a parking fee but free elsewhere.


Buses run regularly from Leicester City centre and the Park also forms part of the central section of the Riverside Walk and cycle route.

There is no official booking system and you are welcome to just turn up on the day or email: enquiries@leicestersketchclub.co.uk to let us know who is coming so we can keep an eye out.
