Graduating in BA Hons in Art & Design, Bali sells her work to private & corporate clients worldwide. Showcasing her work internationally around the globe she won the "Crystal award" for the most inspiring artist of the year in 2016.
Bali Art is created using a “Ripping & Layering” technique involving the use of delicate pattern template shapes & tissue paper. One of her favourite being the old fashioned traditional “Butterwick” patterns, that create an unpredictable beautiful layered finish to her painting. Textures and layering is a necessity. The Layers leave an impression with an eye-catching vibrant result alongside with the use of coloured tissue paper, wax, acrylic or oils and gold leaf. Working wet on wet or dry on wet.
Bali was inspired by seeing her mother constructing perfect garments into beautiful pieces and brought up in an atmosphere where she been surrounded by textures of fabrics. Whereas the Artist Bali herself “Rebels” and prefers to use the deconstruction technique where the tissue pattern shapes are ripped apart in which case as Artist quotes:
“I am creating a beautiful garment in my mind, but in my case on a canvas by deconstructing, recreating, and even destroying until I have reached a point of sanity”
