I am a fine artist and designer, born in Dublin and based in Leicester, UK. My work revolves around drawing, painting and printmaking. I use a variety of media including ink and twigs, watercolour, charcoal, pastel, etching and mono printing. I love painting both outdoors on streets or fields and also working in my home studio.
My work draws influence from people, architecture and landscapes. I am interested in the theme of time and man’s inventiveness in creating environments for us to live in whether they be busy cityscapes or remote country landscapes.
I am a member of Leicester Print Workshop, Leicester Society of Artists, Leicester Sketch Club (past president & secretary) and Urban Sketchers Leicester.
I have shown my work in annual exhibitions including the Royal Society of British Artists, Graphic Society of Fine Art, Society of Women Artists, Leicester Society of Artists, Royal Hibernian Academy, Dublin, several RBSA exhibitions, Derby Print Open and have shown locally in Leicester including the Cank Street Gallery (now closed).
I am a founder member of several community groups including Urban Sketchers Leicester, Virtual Sketch Leicester, Midlands Printmakers and Leicestershire Art Alliance and West End Creatives Leicester.
