Leslie Goodwin MBE HON RTD RWA ROI
Leslie Goodwin is a professional artist working in oils, watercolours, pastels etc. He exhibits regularly at the Royal Academy and his work is in private collections throughout the world including the Royal Collection of his Royal Highness, Charles, Prince of Wales and in public collections throughout the country. He has also broadcast frequently for the BBC and has had many articles published on painting techniques. Leslie was awarded an MBE in the Millennium New Years Honours List in 2000. Ken Howard RA Professor of Drawing at the Royal Academy has this to say of his work “One of the marks of a true artist is that he has a recognisable language which opens peoples eyes to a way of seeing the world. With his rich use of paint, his wonderful colour sense and undeniable drawing skills Leslie has created a language which reveals and celebrates the life around us”.
