Barbara Taylor-Harris
Barbara trained originally as a sculptor and gained a BEd in Art: sculpture & Education: Philosophy and Psychology. She had a varied career in education e.g. as a Professional Development Tutor teaching primary teachers, inspecting Primary Art nationally, organising displays and exhibitions. Barbara returned to developing her art work full time nine years ago. Barbara's paintings reflect her sculptor's love of texture and form. As a mixed media artist she varies her media, approach and subjects constantly to best suit the subject or theme she am developing. She likes to experiment and use new techniques, technology and materials. Barabra exhibits regularly, undertakes commissions and runs the annual Art in Lyddington exhibition involving approximately 50 artists. She is a Professional Associate for the Society of All Artists and runs workshops, individual tuition at her Studio and painting holidays in Spain.
