Marjorie Walter
Despite an early interest, Marjorie only began to draw and paint again a few years ago, and is yet to settle on a favourite medium, style or subject matter. She works mainly in pastel, watercolour and acrylics but has begun to experiment with oils. She enjoys painting built landscapes with unusual perspective, also, more recently, portraits and figurative painting – trying to catch form, character, expression and movement. Marjorie is particularly interested in how contrasting light and shade bring pictures to life. |
