Helen Meheux
After leaving A level Art behind her over 40 years ago, three women (Sue Graham, Diane Hall and Louise Ellerington) have helped Helen to rediscover the sheer joy of drawing and painting. Having achieved an MA in Art History in 2010, she got the itch again and so has been working for the past 3 years regaining some confidence and is now thrilled to be accepted as a member of the Leicester Sketch Club. Helen mainly works in drawing, using pencil and pastels with the human figure as her focus, especially portraiture. Her heroes are Durer and Burne-Jones. |
