Harry Hamill

Harry is an amateur who has always drawn and painted for fun, using different media, methods and styles. He has no formal art training.
Harry has no particular programme or direction but enjoys having the freedom to respond to places, people, images and events just as it pleases him. Over the years he has sketched in city streets, pubs and cafes, on seaside beaches and in the countryside and has drawn and painted from life in numerous studios.
Harry has also drawn cartoons and prepared artwork for printers, painted scenery for stage productions, practised calligraphy and illuminated meeting agendas with doodles.  He has often whiled away insomniac nights with a pencil or paintbrush.
Harry has exhibited at a number of local exhibitions in different parts of the country with some success in terms of sales and prizes.
