Classroom at the Attenborough Arboretum 5-23 Carisbrooke Road Leicester LE2 3TQ Paul Talbot-Greaves – Loose Layers in Watercolour 12 places £50 Now booking! We are very excited to welcome back Paul Talbot-Greaves to give this workshop. Book early as it is likely to be very popular! The day will begin with a discussion of Paul’s layering technique based around five values. He will then do a demonstration, showing the layering process in watercolour to help achieve clarity and light in a painting. The layers make use of thin washes, wet into wet techniques and dry brush work, which when worked in a certain order, yield amazing results. About Paul “My passion for art began when I was five years old and that vision has never wavered throughout my life. Now into my 26th year as a full time painter, author, and tutor, I am proud to have my work distributed throughout the globe, with four published art books, and highly regarded as a popular tutor. In 2023 I was elected as a member of the Royal Institute Of Painters In Watercolours. My work varies between three disciplines of watercolour, acrylic and oil. My landscape work often reflects the rugged scenery of the Yorkshire hills where I live, drawing inspiration from historical connections using layers of colour, texture, shapes and patterns applied with energy and feeling. “ www.talbot-greaves.com About the venue: https://attenborougharboretum.com/ |
