Edward Bunney

Painter:

Edward Bunney, a stalwart member of the club for many years, began painting as a young boy at school. Encouraged by his head teacher, Edward is now well-known for paintings of interiors of churches where he practices his other great interest bell-ringing. The painting of the Leicester Power Station was painted when he was a young artist and is especially important as he remembers when the old building was dismantled to make way for the Kingpower Stadium, the new home of Leicester City Football club.
