How to join
We have three different types of membership as described below. Full membership includes the opportunity to show work in Exhibitions, inclusion in Critiques at monthly meetings, and your own profile page here on the LSC website. Applications for 2022 are now closed, but you are welcome to join as an associate member at any time. Associate members do not go through the review process of showing their work in order to join so can include those who may have an appreciation and enthusiasm for art, without necessarily being an artist themselves. Associate membership also gives you the chance to experience the club before applying for full membership if desired. Associates do not submit work for critiques or exhibitions, but are welcome to all monthly meetings, workshops, trips and sketching days. We are planning to offer a full programme in 2022 so the subscription is reverting to £20. Student members must hold a recognised student identity card to apply. The same rules apply to that of an associate member. We are planning to offer a full programme in 2022 so the subscription will revert back to £20.
