Barbara Hatton
Painter: Abstract & figurative, acrylic and oils President 2014 Barbara Hatton was the President of the LSC in 2014 and has held the post of President before in 1998. She was born in St. Albans, Hertfordshire and went to Watford Art and Technical College. After marrying and raising 4 children she moved to Leicester in 1967. Barbara worked at the University of Leicester for many years and then decided it was time to take up art again. Representational and imaginative paintings inspired by objects, places and landscapes. Painted mainly in acrylics as well as oil, watercolour and mixed media.
