Become a Sketch Club member - How to join

We have three different types of membership as described below.  ​

Full membership includes the opportunity to show work in exhibitions, inclusion in critiques, at monthly meetings, and your own profile page here on the LSC website. To become a Full Member you need to have 5 pieces of your work reviewed by members of the committee. 

Membership is open all year round. 
From July to December Full membership is £15, Associate or Student membership £10 for the remainder of 2025.

Associate members do not go through the review process of showing their work in order to join so can include those who may have an appreciation and enthusiasm for art, without necessarily being an artist themselves. Associate membership also gives you the chance to experience the club before applying for full membership if desired. Associates do not submit work for critiques or exhibitions, but are welcome to all monthly meetings, workshops, trips and sketching days. 
 
Student members must hold a recognised student identity card to apply. The same rules apply to that of an associate member.
