Meet at 10.30am at the main entrance or if late, catch up with people drawing around the hill. Bring food and drink and plenty of layers of clothes and the area does not have shelter or shops. It is an informal day out and a chance to meet club members and guests, pick up some tips and enjoy some sketching. It is not an ‘organised formal trip’ so self-sufficiency with water, food etc is important.
It can be decided on the day but there is the option to meet later for coffee or lunch THE OLD BULLS HEAD which is along the main street in Woodhouse Eaves nearby and has parking. 34 Main Street, Woodhouse Eaves, Loughborough, Leicestershire, LE12 8RZ. There is no official booking system and you are welcome to just turn up on the day. There is a list to put your name down for each sketch day at monthly meetings so you can see who is coming.
