Jane Finlay Harold 2020 Polychromos on card, 29.7 cm x 21 cm Not for sale I am a self taught artist and over the years I have always enjoyed artistic/creative hobbies. In 2020, I became a full member of Leicester Sketch Club soon after attending one of their sketching events at Leicester Museum, New Walk, Leicester. This gave me the incentive to start drawing again. I particularly enjoy drawing nature so drawing animals and birds using a variety of pencils was the way forward for me. The three pieces in this exhibition are some of my earlier drawings trying out Polychromos pencils. Since then, I have done several more pictures based on nature and eight pieces were exhibited at Leicester Museum’s ‘Inspired in Lockdown’ exhibition.
