Jo Walters
I've always enjoyed the process and joyful feeling of painting. I work in watercolour because of the vibrancy of the colour and the flow of the paint. My favourite subject is my Loughborough allotment. I love the wildness of it, the different styles of plots, the allotment ephemera and the changing seasons. I want to communicate how it makes me feel. Regenerated, full of hope and immersed in the natural world. I also enjoy painting landscapes, in Derbyshire and Yorkshire, exciting gardens such as Chatsworth and Scampston and life painting. |
