Lisa Timmerman
Lisa Timmerman trained at Loughborough & Bristol Colleges of Art before working for many years in the fashion & textile industry in London & East Asia. Since becoming a professional artist in 2011, her ‘Timm’ signature has become a familiar sight, she is well known locally and has a large on-line following. Lisa, originally from Leicester, works from her studio in Foxton near Market Harborough & now exhibits around the country. She won the Northants Arts Festival in 2013 & was awarded her first solo exhibition by Northampton Gallery '78 Derngate' for July-Sept 2014. She is now represented by several UK galleries. Lisa has been on the committee of 'The Leicester Sketch Club', gives talks locally, arranges life drawing sessions for local artists & teaches drawing & acrylic painting in small groups from her studio in Foxton. She is also an active member of The Harborough Artists Cluster, taking part in their annual ‘Artists Open Studio Trail’ and lead organiser of 'Art Windows' in Market Harborough.
