Ros Kite
Ros enjoys working in a variety of media. Recently her work has been informed by family circumstances and resulted in the charcoal drawings shown here. They are still life works of items found in Ros' parents home when clearing out. Ordinary objects with a history and deserving of being recorded and given status. These came after the sharpie drawings which are about the enjoyment of line. They began in The Birmingham Botanical Gardens and finished later with the aid of photographs. Ros' work often features surface pattern as she has a love of fabrics, sewing and knitting and was a knitwear and lingerie designer many years ago. |
