John Nixon
As an architect John is particularly interested in texture and composition in his drawings and paintings. His long experience of detailed drawing landscape, life studies and, of course, buildings, is the background on which his painting style developed. John is increasingly looking at abstract elements, but usually with a starting point of representational images. The use of different materials to keep a fresh approach to each subject helps to make the activity of painting and drawing always exciting.
