Parking near entrance.No café available however you can buy a takeaway coffee in the Petrol Station nearby. There will be no cancellation notification so only come if you feel like it on the day. |

Meet at 10.00am sharp at the main entrance or if late, catch up with people drawing inside the park. Bring food and drink and plenty of layers of clothes. It is an informal day out and a chance to meet club members and guests, pick up some tips and enjoy some sketching & painting. It is not an ‘organised formal trip’ so self-sufficiency with water, food etc. is important.

Directions: By car: from M1 junction 21 follow the ring road A563 to its junction with the A6 at Oadby. The Botanic Garden backs on to the roundabout at this junction. Turn left, then immediately right, into Glebe Road (see map). Satnav post code is LE2 2LD. By bus: from the city centre or railway station catch an Arriva 31/31A or Arriva 80/80A. |

There is no official booking system and you are welcome to just turn up on the day. There is a list to put your name down for each sketch day at monthly meetings so you can see who is coming.
