Outdoor Sketch Day
Bradgate Park, Newtown Linford Saturday 29 July 2017 10.00am Main entrance carpark on Bradgate Road, Newtown Linford. LE6 OHB Free entry to park. Car park costs. Café and toilets available nearby. There will be no cancellation notification so only come if you feel like it on the day. |

Meet at 10.00am sharp at the main carpark or if late, catch up with people drawing inside the park. Bring food and drink and plenty of layers of clothes. It is an informal day out and a chance to meet club members and guests, pick up some tips and enjoy some sketching & painting. It is not an ‘organised formal trip’ so self-sufficiency with water, food etc. is important but the cafe sells basic foods. If raining, it may be possible to draw in the Church – key available from the Post Office.

Directions The main car park is within a 10 minute drive of Junction 22 of the M1. Follow the A50 (eastwards) to Markfield and turn left to Newtown Linford. Car Park is next to the village church. By Bus: Contact Traveline East Midlands for timetable details. (0871 2002233). Bus 120 leaves St Margaret’s Bus Station (Bay 7) at 9.13am and arrives at 9.40am. |

There is no official booking system and you are welcome to just turn up on the day. There is a list to put your name down for each sketch day at monthly meetings so you can see who is coming.
